NunavutGeoscience.ca is a joint initiative of the Canada - Nunavut Geoscience Office (C-NGO), Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC), Government of Nunavut (GN), Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), and Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI) to provide the public, industry, and other government agencies an Internet portal to view and extract Nunavut's geoscience data.

This Web site contains Nunavut specific geoscience. It includes data from government funded geoscience projects and as well as publicly-accessible data collected by exploration companies.

NunavutGeoscience.ca will:

• provide a single Internet portal for the discovery and evaluation of geoscience data available in Nunavut
• provide the ability to search a Nunavut Mineral Occurrence Database (NUMIN) for publicly-assessable mineral exploration assessment reports, Open File publications, and other public-geoscience publications
• provide the ability to download available digital assessment reports, Open Files/Reports and other publications from your search results
• search and display Nunavut mineral occurrences (showings) from the NUMIN database
